Eng. George Inyensiko is one of the Team Leads at OVAAT and a highly experienced civil engineer with a distinguished career in public service, infrastructure development, and community-based enterprise.
He is a trained Civil Engineer holding an MSc in Construction Management from the University of Bath (UK) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Building and Civil Engineering from Kyambogo University, Uganda.
Eng. Inyensiko served with the Ministry of Works and Transport from 1989 to 2008, retiring at the rank of Senior Engineer. During this period, he worked as Station Engineer at Moyo Station (1995–2000) and later at Arua Station (2000–2008), where he played a key role in supervising and managing public infrastructure works.
From July 2008 to December 2015, he worked on contract with the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) as a Station Engineer, first in Jinja (2008–2011) and later in Luweero (2011–2015), contributing to the development and maintenance of national road infrastructure.
Since January 2016, Eng. Inyensiko has been engaged in private engineering practice. Alongside his professional work, he is an active agripreneur, involved in farming coffee, cocoa, Hass avocado, and agroforestry across the districts of Luuka, Kamuli, and Iganga.
Beyond engineering and agriculture, he holds several leadership and civic responsibilities. He is the Chairman of the Iganga Cluster Avocado Growers Cooperative Society, a member of the Rotary Club of Kyadondo, and serves as Isabalangira (Chief Prince) of the Luuka Chiefdom, one of the eleven chiefdoms that constitute the Obwa Kyabazinga of Busoga.
