One Village At A Time delivers books to Naigobya Primary School to improve literacy

In Uganda, rural learners still have  inadequate access to reading materials and structured literacy support compared to their urban counterparts.

To contribute to closing this gap, One Village At A Time has facilitated the delivery of a new collection of books to St. Jude Naigobya Primary School, strengthening access to learning resources for children in the area.

The books, donated by Library for Kids International, were coordinated and handed over through OVAAT’s community-based delivery system, ensuring they reach learners directly in school.

Teachers at St. Jude Naigobya Primary School welcomed the donation, noting that the materials will enhance classroom learning, support early grade reading, and benefit both primary pupils and children at the nearby Early Childhood Development Centre.
